A Career Built on Engineering & Cybersecurity
I am Arun Rajagopal, an OT cybersecurity expert, Chartered Engineer, and business leader with over 25 years of experience in Industrial Control Systems (ICS), SCADA, Automation, and Cybersecurity Strategy. I have worked in oil & gas, aviation, pharmaceuticals, energy, and critical infrastructure, where I have led cybersecurity risk assessments, compliance programs, and security architecture designs. Having worked in Automation with various Systems Integrators like Honeywell, ABB, Yokogawa, and Emerson, and having faced various engineering challenges, has provided me with the expertise to overcome such problems, keeping Safety and Cybersecurity in mind.
Over the years, I have managed engineering teams, developed cybersecurity strategies for critical industries, and built robust security frameworks aligned with industry standards. My passion lies in bridging the gap between cybersecurity, engineering, and compliance, ensuring that security is not just an add-on but a core part of industrial control systems (ICS).

One of the biggest challenges in OT cybersecurity today is the shortage of skilled engineers. While cyber threats have evolved, the industry continues to face a severe skill gap, leaving critical infrastructure exposed. Finding qualified professionals who understand both engineering and cybersecurity remains a significant challenge. CyberForte was born out of the need to address the skills shortage and knowing the significance of developing a Cybersecurity Improvement Program. At CyberForte, our engineers are trained, certified, and prepared to handle real-world security challenges.

The Birth of CyberForte
In 2015, I founded Elite Technical Consulting Ltd (ETC) with the vision of building a consultancy that provides Engineering and Functional safety services. Over the past decade, we have worked with over 20 clients, delivering solutions in risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity for critical industries.
As OT cybersecurity became a niche yet essential field, I saw the need for a dedicated engineering and cybersecurity consultancy—one that not only offers expert advisory services but also delivers practical security solutions tailored for industrial environments. This led to the birth of CyberForte a one-stop solution for OT cybersecurity, offering everything from risk assessments and security engineering to compliance support and technology-driven solutions.
